Since joining Common Ground Architecture, Beth has worked on designing a mixed use 12-storey building as part of the Fairfield Homes development and new Croydon Cultural Masterplan. She is also working with Brick by Brick to deliver three residential schemes in the north of the borough.
Beth studied Architecture at the University of Bath and the London School of Architecture. She has since worked at Rick Mather Architects (now MICA) and Carl Turner Architects, working on a range of cultural and educational buildings through to completion. Her passion for eco-friendly buildings and places led her to work with local communities in Malaysian Borneo developing sustainable construction methods such as alternatives to concrete.
Beth most enjoys working on projects which improve the public realm with a particular interest in how design can be a catalyst for social change.
